“Our thoughts and prayers are with Chiefs and the families and friends of those who lost their lives in this terrible tragedy. We connected the Chiefs with our professional counselors to support both the team and the families. We’ll continue to provide assistance.”
The league and the Chiefs have been in constant contact throughout the day about potentially delaying or re-scheduling Sunday's game against the Panthers. The Week 13 game is scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. ET at Arrowhead Stadium.
