Arizona Cardinals fans have seen some tough times over the years. Other than a brief stint with Kurt Warner, it's been tough to find any kind of reliable quarterback play in the desert. And after this year's defense started out the season so well, it completely fell apart against a divisional foe in Week 14.
Cardinals vs. Seahawks, Week 14: Arizona reaches new low in 58-0 loss
Sunday’s loss was one of the worst in franchise history for the Cardinals.

Following the Cardinals' 58-0 loss to the Seahawks on Sunday, it seems as the team has just about given up on the year. SB Nation's Cardinals blog, Revenge of the Birds, was understandably frustrated with the awful showing in Seattle.
This is a Birdgang I have never seen before. Actually, this is a Birdgang none of us have seen before. Instead of a real gang, this looks like one of the “gangs” from West Side Story. Embarrassing, awful and anything but intimidating. I almost expected for the team to break out in dance after this loss.
While the season is winding down, one staff writer isn’t too optimistic about the team’s chances next year. As a matter of fact, this may just be rock bottom for the franchise.
This is rock bottom, Cardinals fans. The team needs to fill so many positions that it almost makes sense for them to just give the season up, play the young guys and start planning on who to take with your top five pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.
The Cardinals will wrap up their season with three teams right in the middle of the playoff hunt. They'll look to end their nine-game losing streak next weekend when Calvin Johnson and the Lions come to town. With the Bears and 49ers looming after that, it may be Arizona's final real chance to salvage something from this forgettable season.
