It was Foles’ first win in the NFL as a starter, especially impressive because it came against a team with a solid, if unspectacular, record, now at 6-7.

The Cincinnati Bengals are a different animal, however. They don’t have an equally explosive offense, but it’s solid and balanced — 14th in the league in rushing and passing yards— and it’s backed up by an even more solid defense.
While most teams can boast some sort of home-field advantage, it’s hard to imagine the Philly crowd getting too much behind the Eagles, even after last week’s win, and especially if the Bengals get up early. Plus, if they want Andy Reid out of town, they might even want the team to lose to prevent any end-of-season momentum. The Eagles are still flush with talent, but a winning streak at this point shouldn’t be something that anyone can expect.
