Two possessions, two turnovers. That's how the night started for the Philadelphia Eagles, hosting the Cincinnati Bengals on the last Thursday Night Football game of the season.
Eagles derp into a second turnover
It’s a rough night already in Philadelphia.
Philadelphia's turnover troubles started on second-and-1, less than a minute into the first quarter. Carlos Dunlap forced the fumble and Domata Peko picked up after it left Jeremy Maclin's hand. The next drive ended with a derp on the punt.
Boom Herron got the official credit for forcing the fumble, only because the NFL requires someone to get credit for it. Rookie Marvin McNutt actually forced the fumble, knocking the ball down while blocking Herron.
This is pretty much how the Eagles’ season has gone, and all eight fans in the stands are watching this team play out the season.
The Eagles have the ball back... can't wait to see what happens next!
