NFL inactives, Week 15: Packers vs. Bears

Clay Matthews returns for the Green Bay Packers. Brian Urlacher and Tim Jennings are out for the Chicago Bears.

Clay Matthews and guard Josh Sitton will play for the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, while the Chicago Bears remain shorthanded on defense.

Matthews has missed more than a month with a hamstring injury but returns to the field on a limited basis in Sunday’s crucial NFC North matchup. Sitton will take the field for the first time since Thanksgiving.

The Packers' full inactive list is as follows: cornerback Charles Woodson, running back James Starks, linebacker Terrell Manning, wide receivers Donald Driver and Jordy Nelson, tight end D.J. Williams and defensive end C.J. Wilson.

The Chicago Bears, who have lost four of their last five games, will take the field without several of their most prolific defensive players, including NFC interception leader Tim Jennings.

The Bears will also be without the following six players: linebackers Brian Urlacher and Geno Hayes, quarterback Josh McCown, defensive linemen Henry Melton and Shea McClellin and wide receiver Earl Bennett.
