Big mistakes by Detroit handed easy points to Arizona on Sunday, and the Lions were not able to recover.

To say this game was a disaster would be an understatement. The Lions actually outgained the Cardinals by a margin of 312-196, but the difference was in the turnover battle. Arizona not only forced three more turnovers than the Lions, but they capitalized on them.
Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford threw three interceptions, two of which were returned for touchdowns. The second pick-six gave Arizona a 31-10 lead with a little over five minutes to play, effectively ending the contest.
The trouble started for Detroit when it was up 7-0. Pat Lee and returner Stefan Logan ran into each other on a Cardinals punt, and Logan muffed the ball inside his own 10 yard line. Arizona recovered and scored a touchdown one play later. That set the tone for what was yet to come for the Lions, and the Cardinals pulled away thanks to additional miscues.
The loss dropped Detroit’s record to 4-10. The Lions have not won a game since Nov. 4.
