NFC East injury report: Chris Snee, Chris Canty suffer setbacks

Several new injuries struck the teams of the NFC East in Week 15. Dallas, New York and Philadelphia each lost regular contributors.

After their Week 15 games, most of the teams in the NFC East are dealing with new injuries.

The Dallas Cowboys lost linebacker Ernie Sims to a concussion during their overtime victory over Pittsburgh. Sims has 36 tackles in eight games this season.

The Washington Redskins appeared to escape their win over Cleveland without any new setbacks. Quarterback Robert Griffin III sat out the game because of a knee injury; Kirk Cousins got the start in his stead.

The New York Giants' Jayron Hosley and Chris Snee both left the team's game against Atlanta and later returned. Hosley is dealing with an ankle injury, while Snee has a hip problem. Defensive tackle Chris Canty suffered a burner that made it difficult for him to move his right arm after the game.

Philadelphia fullback Stanley Havili strained a hamstring during the Eagles' loss to Cincinnati and he did not return. Offensive guard Evan Mathis had to leave the game with a sprained ankle.
