Tim Tebow sung in a cappella on SportsCenter, because of course

You need some Tim Tebow in your life on this fine Saturday.

USA TODAY Sports

Could’ve sworn that ESPN was going to dial back its Tim Tebow lovefest. That’s what this says, right? Seems that was admission from the man at the top that maybe All Everything Tebow wasn’t the best strategy. But thankfully, our long national Tebow nightmare is over.

Ha, gotcha.

Via Will Brinson

This was on SportsCenter early Saturday morning. The video above shows an a cappella group performing on the SportsCenter set. I’m sure the group is nice and sings wonderfully, but man ... was it really necessary to end the short song by harmonizing “Tim Tebow” over and over.

And on top of all that, there’s the Tebowing. Oh, the Tebowing. It just kind of ties the whole thing together and sums up the Tebowization of ESPN. Can’t get enough of that Tebow.

I’m sure Greg McElroy, the man who leapfrogged Tebow on the depth chart, will get his own a cappella song soon, too. That’s how this all works, right? Right!
