The San Diego Chargers were able to pull out a solid 27-17 win against the New York Jets on Sunday, but the big win wasn't the most dominant performance. In a meaningless game, it just looked like two middling teams facing off with the Chargers ending up the victor.
Chargers vs. Jets, Week 16: Win is unconvincing for San Diego
The San Diego Chargers looked good against a floundering New York Jets team on Sunday, but it might have been due more to New York’s terrible play than anything the Chargers did.

Chargers blog Bolts From The Blue lamented the fact that the win really wasn’t good news after the game, pointing out that with the way the floundering Jets played, just about anyone in the NFL probably should have been able to beat them:
San Diego did have some impressive statistics, including 11 sacks on Greg McIlroy, but nothing that indicated they should have been taking down the bigger teams they faced earlier in the season before the Broncos clinched the AFC West.
The Chargers will finish their season against the similarly struggling Oakland Raiders in Week 17.
