San Diego Chargers suffered the biggest injury of the week in the AFC West during their win over the Jets, when safety Brandon Taylor was carted off in the third quarter. The rookie was eventually revealed to have a torn ACL, which will knock him out of the final game of the season against the Raiders.

Chargers rookie safety Brandon Taylor’s torn ACL was the biggest injury in the AFC West during Week 16 action.


Raiders quarterback Carson Palmer was smashed in the ribs by Carolina Panthers defensive end Greg Hardy during their game on Sunday. Palmer played for several plays after getting leveled by Hardy, but was eventually removed from the game and did not return. No update on Palmer has been released regarding his status for Week 17.
Chiefs wide receiver Terrance Copper and defensive tackle Tyson Jackson were both knocked out of their game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Denver did not suffer any major injuries during their blowout win over the Cleveland Browns, though they did knock out a few important Browns players during the game.
