AFC North injury report: Browns decimated against Broncos

The Cleveland Browns suffered two more big injuries during Sunday’s game against the Broncos, while the rest of the AFC North stayed out of too much injury trouble.

CHirs Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

The Cleveland Browns suffered mightily during Sunday's 34-12 loss to the Denver Broncos, with starting quarterback Brandon Weeden and starting tailback Trent Richardson being knocked out by Denver's defense. Cleveland is suffering from a huge injury spat going into their last game of the season, and losing two more key players isn't helping matters.

The big AFC North matchup of the weekend was the playoff-deciding game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers, and the injuries were kept to a minimum in Cincinnati's 13-10 win. The only player to exit the game with a major injury was Steelers tight end Heath Miller, who was carted off with a PCL and MCL injury in the fourth quarter. It will likely keep Miller out of Pittsburgh's Week 17 matchup against the Cleveland Browns.

Cincinnati escaped the game mostly unscathed on the injury front, and clinched a spot in the playoffs, as well.

Anquan Boldin was the only major injury for the Baltimore Ravens. The wide receiver was removed from the game against the Giants with a shoulder injury in the third quarter.
