Pro Bowl rosters: No Eagles for first time since 1998

For the first time in over ten years, no Philadelphia Eagles were selected to the Pro Bowl this season.

For the first time since 1998, no members of the Philadelphia Eagles were selected to the Pro Bowl. This is the first time an Eagles team under Andy Reid has not had any Pro Bowl selections. Reid became the coach of the Eagles in 1999 and since his arrival Philadelphia has sent at least one player to the Pro Bowl every year until this season.

Last season the Eagles had three players selected: running back LeSean McCoy, tackle Jason Peters, and defensive end Jason Babin. Just three years ago, Philadelphia had nine players selected for the 2010 Pro Bowl, but this season the Eagles are 4-11 and will not be sending any players to Honolulu.

Between replacements for the Super Bowl teams and injury replacements, it is possible that Philadelphia could still end up with a Pro Bowler when it is all said and done, but for the moment they are without a Pro Bowl selection for the first time since the 1998 season in which they finished 3-13.
