The opening spread for the Houston Texans' visit to play the Indianapolis Colts in Week 17 was four points, but it's increased to a touchdown at 5Dimes and Bet Online, according to OddsShark.com.
NFL odds Week 17: Texans vs. Colts
The Houston Texans are slight favorites against the upstart Indianapolis Colts in Week 17.

Apprehension about the favoritism going Houston's way might be because of the Texans' surprising 23-6 loss to the Minnesota Vikings last week. It doesn't help Houston's cause that the Colts, led by rookie quarterback Andrew Luck, will have motivation with the return of head coach Chuck Pagano, who left the team in September to fight leukemia.
Still, the Texans are the better team on paper. They started the season 11-1 but over the past three games have gone 1-2 both against the spread and straight up. Houston is winless in its last five trips to Indianapolis.
Meanwhile, Indianapolis is 8-2 against the spread and straight up in its past 10 games.
The total for the two teams has gone under in their last four meetings.
