NFL picks and predictions Week 17: Eagles vs. Giants

It’s a must-win game for the New York Giants, and they are favored to beat the Philadelphia Eagles this weekend. Experts, however, are unsure of whether or not they can pull it off.

Howard Smith-US PRESSWIRE

The New York Giants have lost three out of four and are now in a must-win situation this weekend against the Philadelphia Eagles if they hope to make the playoffs and defend their Super Bowl title.

The Giants are favored by a touchdown, but experts are not entirely convinced that they’ll pull off the victory.

Over at CBS Sports, just two out of eight analysts have picked New York (8-7) to beat the lowly Eagles (4-11). New York has scored fewer than 20 points in all three of its recent losses, including a 34-0 blowout loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

Two out of the three experts at Yahoo! Sports have also picked the Eagles, with Jason Cole being the only one to go with the Giants. Philadelphia has won just once since beating the Giants on Sept. 30.

Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. from MetLife Stadium in the final regular season game for both teams.
