AFC South injury report: Rashad Jennings, Donald Brown hurt in Week 13

Key contributors across the AFC South were forced to leave the game on Sunday with injuries.

The AFC South went 2-2 as a division on Sunday, with the Houston Texans defeating the Tennessee Titans, 24-10, the Indianapolis Colts beating the Detroit Lions, 35-33, and the Jacksonville Jaguars falling to the Buffalo Bills, 34-18. All four teams suffered injuries to notable rotation players, though, and will have some questions moving forward.

In Detroit, the Colts staged a thrilling comeback victory but lost three players on the offense. On that final drive, Andrew Luck was playing without two of his starting offensive linemen, as right tackle Winston Justice and left guard Joe Reitz both had previously left the game with concussions. Running back Donald Brown, who splits snaps with rookie Vick Ballard, rolled his ankle on that final drive and left the game, though the injury isn't serious.

In Nashville, the Texans saw two players exit the game with injuries. Backup tight end Garrett Graham left the game with a concussion and did not return, and corner Brice McCain was forced out with a foot injury. McCain was seen leaving the field on crutches with a boot on his foot, and his status should be updated at some point in the week. He started on Sunday for the injured Johnathan Joseph, putting further strain on Houston's secondary.

The Titans, meanwhile, also lost two offensive contributors. Right tackle David Stewart fractured his right leg and is out for the season, while wide receiver Damian Williams aggravated a hamstring injury that had him listed as questionable coming into the game.

The Jaguars were an equally unlucky bunch on Sunday, losing three of their best players. Both running back Rashad Jennings and Cecil Shorts III suffered concussions, though Shorts was seen laughing in the locker room after the game and may be fine moving forward. Starting corner Aaron Ross was also forced out of the game with a leg injury.
