NFL inactive list, Week 17: Texans vs. Colts

Safety Brooks Reed has been ruled inactive for Houston’s Week 17 regular season finale against Indianapolis. The Colts will be without starting center Samson Satele on Sunday.

The Houston Texans travel to Indianapolis on Sunday to face the Colts in the Week 17 regular-season finale, with a Texans victory meaning home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs for the South division champions. Houston could lose and still be the No. 1 seed in the AFC if both Denver and New England lose, as well. The Colts are locked in at the No. 5 position in the AFC playoffs, but will try to avenge a 29-17 loss to the Texans just two weeks ago.

The biggest absence for Houston on Sunday will be safety Brooks Reed, who injured his groin on Nov. 22 and was hoping to play this weekend, but has been ruled inactive by the team. The full list of Houston inactives, via Tania Ganguli of the Houston Chronicle:

Indianapolis and rookie quarterback Andrew Luck will be without starting center Samson Satele on Sunday, as well as having three key defensive contributors inactive: nose tackle Antonio Johnson, defense end Cory Redding and safety Tom Zbikowski. Kickoff between the Texans and Colts is scheduled for 1 p.m ET from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
