Randall Cobb injury: Packers WR out vs. Vikings

Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb will miss Sunday’s regular season finale against the Minnesota Vikings with an ankle injury he suffered last week vs. the Tennessee Titans.

The Green Bay Packers head in to their regular season finale against the Minnesota Vikings looking to lock up second place in the NFC and they will do so without wide receiver Randall Cobb. Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reported on Fox NFL Sunday that Cobb is out with an ankle injury.

Cobb injured the ankle last Sunday in Green Bay's win over the Tennessee Titans. The second-year receiver from Kentucky sat out practice Wednesday and Thursday and was limited on Friday. Cobb will finish the season with 90 catches, 954 yards and eight touchdown receptions. Expect James Jones, Donald Driver and Jordy Nelson, who is listed as probable, to split the bulk of snaps filling in for Cobb.

A win or a San Francisco 49ers loss to the Arizona Cardinals would give the Packers a first-round bye in the playoffs. The Vikings will clinch a playoff berth with a win. Kickoff from Mall of America Field is set for 4:25 p.m. ET and can be seen on Fox.
