NFL inactive list, Week 17: Packers vs. Vikings

Randall Cobb is among the inactive players for Sunday’s big matchup between the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings.

The Green Bay Packers will be without starting wide receiver Randall Cobb as they look to play spoiler during Sunday's matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, the team announced. Other key inactive players for the game include fellow wide receiver Donald Driver and defensive back Charles Woodson.

Cobb, who emerged as one of Green Bay's key playmakers this year, suffered an ankle injury during last week's blowout victory over the Tennessee Titans. There was initially some optimism that he might be able to play this week, but the Packers understandably don't want to risk further injury to Cobb in a relatively unimportant game for them.

One player that's noticeably absent from the inactive lists for this game is Vikings defensive end Brian Robison, who has been dealing with a shoulder injury of late. He missed last week's game against the Houston Texans due to the injury, but he's active and expected to play against the Packers.
