NFL inactives, Week 17: Chiefs vs. Broncos

The Broncos are considerably healthier than the Chiefs for the season finale but they’ll still be without their elite return specialist Trindon Holliday (ankle).

The Broncos could potentially be playing for the top seed in the AFC Sunday, but they'll have to get it done against the Chiefs without their outstanding return man Trindon Holliday (ankle).

Holliday was listed as doubtful with his sprain earlier in the week so the fact that he'll sit out should come as no surprise. Jim Leonhard is expected to take over punt duties while rookie Omar Bolden should get another crack at his old kick return job.

As for the good news, Denver will be getting right guard Chris Kuper back after the veteran offensive lineman missed the previous three games due to a left ankle sprain and some migraine trouble. According to Mike Klis of the Denver Post, Manny Ramirez is still expected to get the start though, with Kuper getting back in the rhythm of things on special teams.

On the other end, Tony Moeaki (head) and Dexter McCluster (illness) are both active and ready to give it a go for a receiver-needy Chiefs team. The same cannot be said for QB Ricky Stanzi, who will not suit up once again and will finish the 2012 season without a single appearance. And that's saying something when the quarterbacks ahead of him were Brady Quinn and Matt Cassel.

Below are the complete inactive lists both teams:

Denver Broncos: QB Caleb Hanie, KR Trindon Holliday, CB Tracy Porter, FB Chris Gronkowski, TE Julius Thomas, G C.J. Davis, DT Sealver Siliga

Kansas City Chiefs: QB Ricky Stanzi, WR Josh Bellamy (ankle), FS Abram Elam (quad), RB Nate Eachus, G Rich Ranglin, LT Branden Albert (back), LE Tyson Jackson (foot)
