Adrian Peterson fails to break single season rushing record

Finishing 9 yards short of breaking Eric Dickerson's 2,105 yards, it ensured that the which has stood since 1984 remains. Adrian Peterson may have fallen just nine yards short, but regardless he's added an exclamation point to an already Hall of Fame-worthy career.
