NFC North rivals clash on Sunday Night Football.

The Lions have slowly drifted out of the NFC playoff picture, losing their last four games by a total of 19 points. Quarterback Matthew Stafford leads the league in passing yards, but has managed just 16 touchdown passes on the year with 11 interceptions. The Detroit offense, second in the league in total yardage, is just 11th in scoring.
While the Lions have faded, the Green Bay Packers have surged. Once holding a 2-3 record and looking like a playoff long shot, Green Bay has won six of their last seven games. Aaron Rodgers has thrown 29 touchdown passes, second in the league, and receivers Randall Cobb, Jordy Nelson, James Jones and Jermichael Finley give him plenty of targets. On the defensive side, the Packers could bring back linebacker Clay Matthews and cornerback Charles Woodson, who have missed time with injury.
