Titans vs. Colts: Another week, another comeback win for Andrew Luck

The Colts trailed, 20-7, going into the break, but put up 14 straight points in the third quarter and held Tennessee to a field goal in the second half.

Fantasy studs and duds

Looks like Andrew Lucker out there.

Manning passed for a 3,739 yards, 26 touchdowns and 28 interceptions in his first season with the Colts after a Heisman runner-up season with the Tennessee Volunteers. Luck is arguably having a better season, despite his struggles Sunday. Headed into Week 14, Luck was 279 for 503 for 3,596 yards, 17 touchdowns and 16 interceptions.

It’s hard to know what Luck even saw here. There wasn’t a receiver in the vicinity, and it’s times like this that a sack is a good play. There are questions whether Luck’s knee hit the ground, but even so, this is something the rookie needs to improve on.

With losses in four of its last five, the Titans haven’t had much going right on either side of the ball. However, running back Chris Johnson has a strong history against the Colts and can cross the 1,000 yard rushing mark in a fifth consecutive season with just seven yards rushing on Sunday. In an overtime loss earlier in the season, Johnson accumulated 99 yards rushing, just under his career average of 103.3 yards against the Colts. Quarterback Jake Locker has had some struggles since taking over as starter, but posted his second career 300-yard game in Week 14.

Brad Wells from Stampede Blue says that the amazing rookie season of Andrew Luck is being overlooked by the national media.
