NFL inactive list, Week 14: Titans vs. Colts

The Colts and Titans go into Sunday’s game fairly healthy, except for Donald Brown’s absence in the Indianapolis backfield.

The Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans will face off in an AFC South contest between two teams that have opposite records.

Indianapolis is 8-4 and having one of the most surprising seasons of any team in the league. Led by rookie quarterback Andrew Luck, the Colts are in prime position for a playoff spot. The resurgence is only a year removed from a dreadful season in the wake of Peyton Manning's injury that threatened to end his career, prior to his resurrection with the Denver Broncos.

Meanwhile, the Titans have lost two straight and four of their last five games heading into Sunday, and are 4-8 overall.

Fortunately, both teams are relatively healthy among their regulars.

The Colts will be without wide receiver Nathan Palmer, safety Tom Zbikowski, running back Donald Brown, linebacker Mario Harvey, offensive tackle Bradley Sowell, defensive tackle Kellen Heard and offensive guard Joe Reitz.

The Titans will be without quarterback Rusty Smith, wide receiver Damian Williams, linebacker Colin McCarthy, offensive guard Mitch Petrus, offensive tackle Daniel Baldridge, wide receiver Lavelle Hawkins and defensive tackle DaJohn Harris.

The biggest name on the board is Brown, out with an ankle injury. He's split time with Vick Ballard to give the Colts their running game this season, carrying the ball 108 times for 417 yards and one touchdown.
