The wife of veteran defensive tackle Tommie Harris passed away on Sunday night. She was only 29 years old.
The Chicago Sun-Times reported the unfortunate news. Doctors believe she had a stroke or a brain aneurysm. She entered an Oklahoma area hospital two days prior.
Some NFL players have tweeted their condolences and several former teammates with the Chicago Bears joined him in Oklahoma in the past few days.
It’s hard to even think about this situation and I can’t even imagine how difficult this is for the family. Our condolences go out to Tommie Harris, the couple’s two children and the rest of their family and friends.
