The Minnesota Vikings are in the midst of trying to get a new stadium, especially after the collapse of the roof of the Metrodome during the 2011 NFL season. While the Vikings haven't officially paved the way for a new stadium yet, they've set up a tentative agreement to play games at TCF Bank Stadium according to a report by The Star Tribune.
Vikings, TCF Stadium Have Tentative Agreement
The Minnesota Vikings have a “tentative” agreement to play games at TCF Bank Stadium, the home of the Minnesota Golden Gophers, while their potential new stadium is under construction according to a report.


The Minnesota Vikings and the University of Minnesota have struck a tentative deal on how much the team will pay the U to play at TCF Stadium while a new Vikings stadium is built near the Metrodome.
TCF Bank Stadium is the current home of the Minnesota Golden Gophers and is an outdoor stadium with a seating capacity of 50,000. The Vikings currently have 53,000 season ticket holders, so that will be an issue the Vikings will need to work out. T
here are no details yet regarding the financials of the agreement in principal, but the last time the Vikings played a game at TCF Bank Stadium Dec. of 2010, they paid $1.7 million.
