The Jacksonville Jaguars will be donning new uniforms in 2013. Owner Shad Khan, in an appearance on The Mike Dempsey Show on 1010XL in Jacksonville, announced that the team will be adopting black as its new primary color, and that the teal that has covered the home jerseys since 1995 will become the third/alternate color.

The Jags used to rock black uniforms on occasion before switching to Adidas as their primary outfitter in 2010. In 2013, the team will switch to Nike, a company that has time and again pushed the envelope of taste, for better or worse, at the college level. The Jaguars will be the first team in the NFL to don Nike gear from head to toe.
Good or bad, expect Jacksonville to be sporting something sleek following the 2012 season.
