VIDEO: Eli Manning On David Letterman, Talking About The Super Bowl

Eli Manning was on Late Night with David Letterman Monday night, where talked about the Super Bowl, his MVP award, Ahmad Bradshaw, his brother Peyton, and of course, whether he’s “elite”. But there’s nothing more surreal than this exchange between Letterman and Eli:

Dave: “You’ve got two! I mean, is that crazy?”

Eli: “It is, it is. It hasn’t quite kicked in yet.”

Dave: “Not only that, two MVPs.”

Eli: “It’s fun. You know, that’s two cars.”

We’ve the full interview in two parts below.

Here’s Part One, where he discusses the Super Bowl win, his receivers, the Ahmad Bradshaw accidental touchdown, and the Mario Mannigham throw in the fourth quarter. Of that play, he says, “He was not the primary receiver ... But sometimes you gotta improv. You know about that, right Dave?”

And Part Two, where he talks about the “elite” controversy one more time, and talks about whether he has a relationship with Tom Brady. “Not a whole lot,” he says. “I don’t know if he likes me.” And of course, he also talks about his brother, Peyton, who he says is healthy and working toward 100 percent. And when will he start gloating about having one more Super Bowl ring than Peyton? “Never.” You gotta the little brother.
