It's no secret, Edson, Kan., population 32, has been stagnant for decades. So upon hearing that Peyton Manning is looking to relocate, the town has sprung into action. It's unclear whether they actually want Manning to play football for them, or simply add more citizens, but representatives have spent the last week traveling to Durham via railroad handcar to compete for his services against the Broncos and Titans.

Edson’s attempts to acquire Chris Paul, land the 2015 Super Bowl and lure West Virginia to its athletic conference were profoundly unsuccessful, but one has to admire their gumption.
