Jacksonville Jaguars DT Terrance Knighton underwent surgery on an eye injury and is expected to miss three months.

Knighton told reporters he can now fully lift weights, but has to be careful not to push himself too hard too soon. Knighton also said that currently he has 20-10 vision in his right eye and is just currently waiting for his left eye to catch up, which is at 20-60 right now.

Knighton has dealt with weight issues in the past, coming into the offseason program overweight the past two seasons, but by all accounts was much lighter than he had been in the past. It’s unknown at this time how much Knighton will be able to work out with his eye injury, but Mike Mularkey indicated the team will be monitoring his weight while he is recovering from the injury.
