The National Football League will release the full 256-game schedule for the 2012 regular season at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday, April 17. Thus far, the only game that has been announced is the 2012 season opener, which will have the Super Bowl XLVI Champion New York Giants hosting the Dallas Cowboys at 8:30 p.m. ET Wednesday, Sept. 5.

The National Football League will unveil its full 256-game regular season schedule Tuesday night.


For immediate answers on the regular season schedule, NFL.com be the first outlet with complete team-by-team and weekly schedules. NFL.com will also provide movie-like trailers previewing the top games on the schedule, a feature sponsored by DirecTV.
Television coverage of the schedule unveiling will take place via the 2012 Schedule Release Show Presented by Verizon on the NFL Network at 7 p.m. ET. The program will be hosted by Rich Eisen, who will be joined by NFL Network analysts Marshall Faulk, Michael Irvin, Kurt Warner and Steve Mariucci, along with several special and currently unidentified guests.
During the show, Eisen, Faulk, Irvin, Warner and Mariucci will break down the 2012 regular season schedule, including the 13 games on the expanded “Thursday Night Football” package on the NFL Network, as well as providing their predictions for Super Bowl XLVII.
