NFL Schedule 2012: Peyton Manning, Broncos Could Lead Way In Primetime Games

With Peyton Manning in the fold, the Denver Broncos are ready for primetime -- literally. The Broncos are expected to be a heavy focus of the NFL when they release the 2012 schedule on Tuesday evening. The Denver Post writes that the Broncos very well could see as many as five primetime games in the 2012 season.

The reason why is obvious -- Manning. He’s made the Broncos one of the hottest teams in the NFL before they’ve even played a game. The Post reports that the Broncos think there is a strong chance they could be opening up against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football in Week 1.

Other potential primetime matchups for the Broncos include a date against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. They also play 2011 playoff teams Bengals, Saints, Ravens and Falcons.

Stay tuned to this StoryStream for more on the 2012 NFL schedule release. For more on the Broncos, visit Mile High Report and SB Nation Denver.
