Warren Sapp May Be Done At NFL Network

A couple of days ago we learned that Warren Sapp is bankrupt, despite the fact that he reportedly pulls in $540,000 a year from the NFL Network. Upon closer examination, though, he may need to update his résumé.

↵As Greg A. Bedard points out in the Boston Globe, Sapp hasn’t been on the air since the week he publicly called Jeremy Shockey a “snitch” in the wake of Bountygate. One league source tells Bedard that Sapp’s next appearance has not been determined, while another says that Sapp’s contract is unlikely to be renewed when it expires in August. Talk is cheap? Not in this case.
