The 2012 NFL season is still several months away, but the teams and players in the league have already begun mini-camps, training sessions and general preparations for the fall. The danger with pre-season training, of course, is the possibility of injury before ever seeing a minute of gameplay in a given year.
Browns’ Phil Taylor Injured; MRI Coming
Defensive tackle Phil Taylor of the Cleveland Browns reportedly suffered an injury during training on Thursday. Taylor may have received an MRI for a chest injury.

John Telich of FOX 8 Cleveland reported that Browns DT Phil Taylor injured himself in a workout during training on Thursday, and the Browns have since confirmed that a pectoral injury did occur while he was lifting weights.
Taylor is a defensive lineman with the Cleveland Browns and will be entering his second season in the NFL.
Taylor was the 21st overall pick for the Browns in the 2011 NFL Draft. The former Baylor Bears defensive tackle picked up 59 tackles, four sacks and a forced fumble in his first pro season.
