On Wednesday night the New York Giants were at Tiffany's to pick up their Super Bowl rings. Fans wanting a glimpse of the team's new bling had to settle for pictures on the Internet or the team's smartphone app that allows users to super impose the ring on their own photos. Giants fans with a little money to spare can still get their hands on Super Bowl ring. Former Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor, famous for his exploits on and off the field, is selling his ring from Super Bowl XXV.

Taylor’s ring is available through SCPAuctions.com. As of Thursday morning, there were 12 bids on LT’s ring with the current high bid at $37,982. The auction house pegs the ring’s value somewhere between $75,000 and $100,000.
For the discerning fan only. The auction ends Saturday.
Now a registered sex offender, Taylor could probably use the proceeds for ... well, you can imagine.
Players selling rings is not something that’s typically well-regarded in the fraternity of professional football players. Chalk up one more post-career foible for LT.
