Kellen Winslow Says He Won’t Be With Bucs; Trade Is Likely

Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Kellen Winslow said on the radio this morning that he thinks he will end up being traded by the Bucs.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Kellen Winslow has been a good receiving option for the team since he was acquired from the Cleveland Browns in a trade in 2009, but it looks like he could be on the trading block once again. Winslow appeared on Sirius XM this morning and said that he will not be with the Bucs this season.

Winslow was originally a Top 10 pick by the Cleveland Browns, but he wore out his welcome after dealing with injuries early in his career and was traded to the Buccaneers. Winslow now expects to be with yet another team for the 2012 NFL season.

Something that could be a factor in the situation is that the Bucs worked out former Indianapolis Colts tight end Dallas Clark last week, according to a report by Adam Schefter of ESPN, and they are expected to try and sign him this week.
