Then I realized one way you could spend that much in one weekend -- a wedding.
Michael Vick was married over the weekend and, according to a report, the wedding cost around $300,000.
As someone who is planning their wedding right now, I can see how you could hit $300,000 in one weekend. No, I’m not secretly a millionaire so mine won’t be anywhere near that price but the wedding industry is notorious for the ridiculous prices involved. (I fail to see why switching from Bud Light to Heineken requires an additional $15 per head.)
The difference between me and Vick -- besides that whole $100 million contract thing -- is that I don’t have creditors after me. Wonder how they feel about his $300,000 wedding.
