Eric Steinbach has spent the past five seasons as a guard for the Cleveland Browns, but it now appears he will be taking his talents to South Beach in the 2012 NFL season as a member of the Miami Dolphins.
Eric Steinbach Inks A Deal In Miami
The Dolphins have picked up a veteran offensive lineman. Eric Steinbach will be bringing depth to the guard position in 2012.

Terry McCormick at the National Football Post reports that the Dolphins and Steinbach have agreed to a one-year contract. The financial particulars of the deal were not immediately disclosed. New Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin was Steinbach’s coach at Iowa, where Steinbach was named a Consensus All-American and picked up Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year honors in 2002.
The nine-year NFL veteran was originally selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the second round of the 2003 NFL Draft and stayed with the Bengals through the 2006 season. He signed a seven-year deal with the Browns in 2007, but was released by the team in March after missing all of the 2011 season with a back injury.
