Michael Crabtree had to sit out practice at San Fransisco 49ers training camp on Saturday, but the team isn't exactly being forward about his injury. He had to leave practice on Friday because of an injury to his right ankle, but the extent of that injury, or what he specifically did to his ankle isn't known. Check out what a team spokesperson had to say about Crabtree's absence from practice.

It’s unlikely that anyone from the league is going to have a word with the 49ers for being ambiguous about an injury during training camp, but they’re not going to be able to get away with this kind of thing during the regular season. Crabtree could return on Monday or could be seriously injured, for all anyone outside of the organization knows.
