Chad Ochocinco is getting ready to start the 2012 NFL season on his third team in as many years. The wide receiver will be a member of the Miami Dolphins in the fall and is eager to prove his naysayers wrong.

Omar Kelly at the South Florida Sun-Sentinel has a profile on Ochocinco, in which the player talks about his new team, his new marriage and his workout regimen. The polarizing wide receiver feels like he’ll still be around the league for several more years.

“I’m going to play ‘til I’m 40 years old, and this year I’m going to show the world I can,” says Johnson, 34.

“There is physically nothing wrong with me. I want to race Clyde (Gates) right now. I’ve asked him,” Ochocinco said, referring to Gates, whose 4.31 40-yard dash time made him the fastest receiver in the 2011 NFL draft. “I’ve still got it. I’m a lot smarter and I’m still fast.”

Ochocinco says he feels like the Dolphins are the perfect fit for him and he wants to prove that he is still valuable to an NFL team.
