The Washington Redskins and Chicago Bears will meet for their second game of training camp on Saturday evening. With most players looking to turn up the intensity with just a few weeks remaining before the regular season arrives, expect to see most starters play at least two or three drives before being pulled.
Redskins Vs. Bears: Game Time, TV Schedule, Odds And More
Previewing one of this weekend’s most interesting preseason matchups.

For the Redskins, who won their preseason opener by a score of 7-6, it's all about getting Robert Griffin III reps under center. The No. 2 pick looked solid in his first action of training camp, but he has to keep improving if he hopes to make an impact the way Cam Newton did last fall. This is a franchise ready to return to the top of the league, although it'll hardly be an overnight fix.
The Bears were wrecked in their game last week, falling to Peyton Manning and the Broncos by a score of 31-3. Of course these games mean absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things, but a 28-point blowout is never fun to experience.
For a team many are picking as a darkhorse in the NFC, it's just about keeping everyone healthy and protecting Jay Cutler. Veteran linebacker Brian Urlacher will not play in the game, nor will he before the regular season begins.
Start Time & Location: Kickoff from Soldier Field is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 p.m. CT
TV Schedule: For those of you in the Washington area, NBC-4 will have television coverage of all the action. Those in Chicago can find the game on the Chicago Bears Network/WFLD.
Odds: The Bears opened as slight favorites at 1-1/2 points. Other listings hold them at one-point favorites.
