LaMichael James Injury: 49ers RB Says He Won’t Miss Any Practices

LaMichael James, rookie running back for the San Francisco 49ers, says he will not miss any practice time despite an injured ankle suffered Saturday night against the Houston Texans, according to Matt Maiocco of Comcast Sports Network.

James was injured when he was caught in a pileup late in the fourth quarter and had his left ankle severely twisted, having to be helped off the field before being carted to the locker room. it was the second injury of the game for the 49ers, with expected starter Brandon Jacobs injuring his knee in the first quarter.

A second round pick for the 49ers int he 2012 NFL Draft, James had put up 19 yards on four carries before being injured.

The 49ers lost the game 20-9 to the Texans.
