Washington Redskins linebacker Brian Orakpo's MRI results on Sunday showed no serious damage to his injured left shoulder. Orakpo's agent, Ben Dogra, said that his client will be ready for the Redskins' season opener on the road against the Saints on Sept. 9. Dogra said the injury was "nothing serious at all."

Orakpo left the first quarter of the Redskins' second preseason game on Saturday with the injury. Orakpo tried to tackle Chicago Bears wide receiver Devin Hester on the play when the injury occurred. Orakpo speculated after the game that his injury could have been related to the torn pectoral muscle he suffered late last season. He needed offseason surgery to repair the damage.
Orakpo led the Redskins in sacks last season with nine.
