The New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles are both Super Bowl favorites heading into the 2012 season. However, that's for water-cooler talk down the road.
Eagles Vs. Patriots: Game Time, TV Schedule, Odds And More
The Patriots and Eagles clash on Monday night in a match-up between two Super Bowl contenders.

In the present-time we have their second preseason games of the year, with both teams coming in 1-0.
Philadelphia looked shaky in their opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers at home. Despite winning the game 24-23, the team appeared rusty and almost was dealt a huge blow when Michael Vick hit his hand on a helmet while throwing.
On the bright side, rookie quarterback Nick Foles looked terrific in limited action. With an injury sidelining Mike Kafka for a while, Foles will get plenty of looks as the No. 2 signal caller.
As for New England, Bill Belichick's group had it's fair share of ups-and-downs. Winning against the New Orleans Saints in a surprising defensive struggle 7-6, the offensive line didn't do well in protecting Tom Brady, allowing numerous pressures and a sack.
Both teams can definitely use the work, with the regular season rapidly approaching.
