The Miami Dolphins announced on Monday that they're going with rookie Ryan Tannehill as their starting quarterback. Tannehill had been battling Matt Moore for that spot and got an opportunity to start in the Dolphins' most recent preseason game.

Over at SB Nation Dolphins blog The Phinsider, fans are discussing the decision to make Tannehill the starter, and opinions there have been more positive than negative. Here’s a snippet of what some folks are saying about this move:
Tannehill completed 14 of 21 pass attempts in his preseason debut, and while he didn’t play quite so well in the Dolphins’ second preseason game, he nonetheless outperformed Matt Moore. Tannehill did not turn the ball over in either of those exhibition games.
Miami's third preseason game is scheduled for Aug. 24 against the Falcons.
