Maurice Jones-Drew’s Price Tag Is Too Much For Jets, According To Report

The New York Jets reportedly are not interested in trading for Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew because they feel that the cost associated with making the move would be too high.

Jones-Drew is holding out for a new deal from Jacksonville, and while the two sides have not been able to resolve their differences up to this point, the Jaguars say that they are not actively trying to trade the running back.

Jones-Drew ran for a career high 1,606 yards in 2011 and scored eight touchdowns on the ground. It was his third consecutive 1,000-yard season. The six-year NFL veteran has piled up 6,854 rushing yards over the course of his career.
