Week 3 of NFL exhibition is typically the main warm-up for Week 1 of the regular season, when starters tend to play more than they have, before taking a seat next week.

Might that mean the lines and totals for this week's games are more like a regular-season game than during the rest of the pre-season? Let's take a look at the NFL odds for this week.

Saturday gives us a very interesting game in Washington as No. 1 overall pick Andrew Luck leads his Colts against No. 2 pick Robert Griffin III and his Redskins. As of Friday morning Washington was listed as a 3.5-point favorite over Indy, with a total of 43.5.

Out in Oakland we get a rematch of a pretty good game from last December when the Lions take on the Raiders. These two teams met in Week 15 last year, when Matt Stafford led Detroit to two late touchdowns and a 28-27 Lions victory. Stafford and Oakland QB Carson Palmer combined to throw for 750 yards and five scores that day.

Detroit is lined as a field-goal favorite over the Raiders for Saturday's game; last December the Lions went into Oakland as one-point faves.

Also Saturday the Steelers are two-point road favorites at Buffalo, and the Saints are favored by three points at home vs. the Texans.

Then Sunday Peyton Manning, who's thrown three interceptions vs. zero touchdowns this pre-season, leads his Broncos as point-and-a-half favorites at home against the 49ers; and the Jets with their mucked-up quarterback situation are two-point faves at home against Cam Newton and the Panthers.
