Neither Kevin Kolb nor John Skelton will be taking snaps in the Arizona Cardinals' final preseason game against the Denver Broncos on Thursday, according to Arizona Republic beat writer Kent Somers.
Neither Kevin Kolb Nor John Skelton Will Play In Cardinals Preseason Finale
Kevin Kolb and John Skelton will sit out of the Arizona Cardinals preseason game against the Denver Broncos. Ryan Lindley will get the start.

That means it's up to third-stringer Ryan Lindley to quarterback the Cardinals.
Ryan Lindley will start this week against denver. He won't be the starter for reg season. Coaches want to see him against 1s

Arizona has struggled not only in finding its starting quarterback, but also in keeping Skelton and Kolb upright.
Somers tweeted that there was no decision on the starting quarterback competition as of Monday, which if true makes the decision to give the first unit snaps to the third stringer a bit strange. But if anything, it will avoid the risk of injury to either Kolb or Skelton.
Lindley, a 23-year-old rookie from San Diego State, has played decently while playing with Arizona's backup units. This past week against the Tennessee Titans, he completed 13-of-24 passes for 112 yards.
