Patriots Vs. Giants Final Score: New York Wins Super Bowl ‘Rematch’

The New York Giants defeated the New England Patriots Wednesday night by a score of 6-3. It was a potential Super Bowl preview, but due to the nature of Week 4 preseason games, it didn't feel like one.

Giants QB Eli Manning did play into the second quarter, however. He threw 4-for-8 for 29 yards. Backup David Carr completed 11 of his 18 passes and managed 136 yards.

The Patriots sat almost all of their starters in the game. Ryan Mallett started at quarterback and went 8-for-15 for 40 yards. He was replaced by Brian Hoyer, who threw 9-for-15 for 96 yards.

The Patriots had a 3-0 lead at halftime, and it was tied at 3-3 after three quarters. A 32-yard field goal from Lawrence Tynes won the game for New York with 1:07 left in the fourth.
