Wide receiver Brandon Banks has made the Washington Redskins 53-man roster on the NFL's cut day, according to a report.
NFL Cuts: Brandon Banks Makes Redskins 53-Man Roster, According To Report
The report, from Redskins beat writer John Keim of the Washington Examiner, came via Twitter:
Just heard that Brandon Banks is in.

Banks, the 5-foot-7, 153-pound wideout in his third season out of Kansas State, has impressed this preseason by using his gifts of agility and speed in making big, yardage-chewing plays for the Redskins, including a 91-yard punt return and two plays, a rush and reception, of over 40-yards.
His spot on Washington’s final roster was questionable due to a couple of miscues -- a dropped handoff and muffed punt -- that left many, including SB Nation’s Redskins blog Hogs Haven, questioning his merits as a legitimate roster option.
We know he can change a game, but he changes it for the worse as often (if not more) than he does for the better. I don’t feel any better about Banks’ chances of making the roster than I did in the past few weeks.
