NFL Roster Cuts: Colts Cut Roster Down To 53, Could Be Active On Waiver Wire
But don’t make the mistake of thinking every one of these 53 guys will be with the Colts in a week - or in a day or two, at that. The Colts will be very active in the next few days, evaluating other team’s cut players and deciding which players would help them. Look for the Colts to address the cornerback position, the offensive line and the nose tackle position (Antonio Johnson is actually the only active nose tackle currently).Players cut by the Colts were: wide receivers Kashif Moore and Jeremy Ross; running backs Deji Karim andDarren Evans; tight ends Andre Smith and Kyle Miller; offensive tackles Mike Tepper and Steven Baker; centerZane Taylor, defensive tackles Chigbo Anunoby and Jason Shirley; linebackers Jerry Brown and Greg Lloyd; guard Hayworth Hicks, safeties Mike Newton and Latarrius Thomas, cornerback Brandon King and long snapper Justin Snow.
